Hi there, I'm Ava!
I'm a senior fluffy collie mix with the purple-est tongue you've ever seen. My hearing and sight might not be quite what they used to be, but my nose is legendary—I'll track you (and your snacks!) down anywhere you try to hide.
When I first arrived at Hallie Hill, I tested positive for heartworms, but after diligent treatment, I'm happy to say I'm now heartworm negative! I get along well with other dogs and I’m quite chatty. People love my endearingly gruff bark and it’s a great way to remind you that it’s mealtime! In my spare time, I love perching in a comfy chair, and my gorgeous fur is always ready for a good brushing!
I'm sweet, silly, and oh-so-fluffy, and I'm ready to sniff out my forever home. Could you be the family I’m looking for?

Hi, I'm Bud!
I came to Hallie Hill after my owner passed away and there were no family members able to take me in. I ended up in a shelter upstate and was on the euthanasia list when some kind people stepped in to help.
People describe me as laid back and easy going. I’d do best in an only-pet household, and I walk wonderfully on a leash. I’m also rather handsome. Have you seen my gorgeous striped tail?
All I want is to live out my senior years as your loyal companion. Do you have room for a sweet old guy like me?

My name is NBA and I'm a slam dunk! I'm a 9 year old male chihuahua weighing in at around 7 pounds, and I'm ready to be the superstar companion you've always wanted. I’m a loving little guy and very handsome to boot. Just look at my perky little nose!
I was rescued from a hoarding situation, but I was shown love before things got out of control. In fact, my foster mom says I’m the biggest cuddler on Earth! I warm up to new people quickly and will roll over for belly scratches.
I would do best in a home where either my people are home most of the time or where there is another small dog to be my companion. I can absolutely be home alone, but I do get a little stressed if it's all day/every day when I don't have a friend to keep me company.
All I need is a loving family that I can shower with kisses and cuddles. Will you take me home?
NBA is from Chihuahua Rescue & Transport South East. He’s neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on his vaccinations. He has a grade 5 heart murmur, so he’s not medically cleared for a full dental treatment. To address dental concerns, he gets antibiotics one week out of each month. He is also on Pimobendan and Furosemide daily.
